Er:YAG laser

Erbium lasers fall within the infrared light spectrum and include two types: Er,Cr:YSGG (Erbium, chromium-doped yttrium, scandium, gallium, and garnet) with a wavelength of 2780 nm, and Er:YAG (erbium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet laser) with a wavelength of 2940 nm. These lasers are solid-state lasers. Erbium lasers are well absorbed by water and hydroxyapatite, making them suitable not only for soft tissue but also for bone and hard tissue removal.
